Privacy
Last updated: 18 August 2026
This notice describes how ClearLawPath Legal LLP handles personal data in connection with this public website. It is written for the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and for readers who want to know what the site itself collects — not what a client file contains, which is governed by separate obligations.
Data controller
ClearLawPath Legal LLP, 45 Maxwell Road, #07-01, The URA Centre, Singapore 069118, is responsible for personal data processed through this website. Questions and requests may be sent to [email protected].
What this site collects
The public website does not use contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, or account registration. When you visit a page, the hosting provider may record your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and the browser user-agent string in server logs. Those logs are used for security, capacity planning, and diagnosing faults.
If you send e-mail to [email protected] or telephone the office, that communication is handled under the practice's client and enquiry procedures, not under this web notice alone. This page does not describe litigation file retention.
Cookies and local storage
The site stores a cookie preference in a cookie named clp_pref and, as a backup, in local storage under the key clp_consent_v2. The value records which categories you accepted: essential (always on), functional, analytics, and maps. The preference lasts up to 180 days. Full category descriptions appear on Cookies.
No analytics scripts are loaded at present. The analytics toggle records a choice for future use and is disclosed as such on the cookies page.
Google Maps
Every page embeds a Google Maps iframe centred on the Maxwell Road neighbourhood. When the map loads, Google may receive your IP address, device information, and interaction data according to Google's own policies. We do not control Google's processing. If you decline the maps category, the iframe is replaced by a placeholder until you choose to load the map for that visit.
Legal basis and purpose
Server logs are processed for legitimate interests in operating a secure public website. Cookie preferences are stored to honour your choice and to meet transparency expectations under the PDPA. Maps are embedded to show the general location of the office; the pin is approximate.
Retention
Server log retention follows the hosting provider's schedule, typically a rolling period of weeks unless a security incident requires longer retention. Cookie preference data expires after 180 days unless you clear it sooner in the browser.
Disclosure to third parties
Apart from the hosting provider and Google (when a map loads), this website does not share personal data with third parties. No advertising networks or social plugins are used.
Transfers
Google Maps content may be served from infrastructure outside Singapore. Where that occurs, it is because you chose to load the embed or accepted the maps category.
Access and correction
You may request access to or correction of personal data the practice holds about you in connection with this website by writing to [email protected]. We respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you believe personal data has been handled contrary to the PDPA, you may complain to us at the same address. You may also refer the matter to the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore.
Changes
This notice may be updated when the site changes. The date at the top records the latest revision.
Security
We use hosting arrangements intended to protect the site from unauthorised access. Server logs are reviewed periodically for anomalies. No payment data is collected on this website because there are no transactions or forms.
Children
This website is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the site. Enquiries about matters involving minors are handled through direct contact with the office under separate professional obligations.

ClearLawPath Legal LLP is an independent legal practice in Singapore. The material on this website describes our work and explains legal processes in general terms. It is not legal advice on any particular matter, and reading it does not create a solicitor–client relationship. Every matter turns on its own facts, and outcomes are determined by the courts and by circumstances outside our control.
